1. Wax preparation
Place the required amount of wax granules into a professional wax heater.
Heat the wax to a working temperature of approximately 45 °C.
Before starting the procedure, always check the temperature and consistency of the wax on a small area of skin. The wax should be sufficiently pliable for even application, but not too fluid.
Do not apply overheated wax to the skin.
2. Skin preparation
Before the procedure, the skin should be clean, dry and free from creams, oils and other products that may reduce the wax's adhesion to the hair.
If necessary, prepare the skin with a professional pre-epilation product.
A small amount of talc may be used on areas where necessary.
3. Application
Take a small amount of wax with a spatula.
Apply the wax to the skin in a dense, even layer, creating a convenient edge for subsequent removal.
For small and sensitive areas, it is recommended to work in small sections.
The wax is applied directly to the skin — paper or non-woven strips are not required.
4. Allowing the wax to set
Leave the wax on the skin until it has cooled and hardened sufficiently.
The approximate setting time is 5–6 seconds at a working temperature of around 45 °C. The actual time depends on the thickness of the layer, room temperature, skin temperature and the amount of wax applied.
The correct consistency is more important than a strictly fixed setting time.
Before removal, the edge of the wax strip should be firm enough to be securely grasped with the fingers.
5. Wax removal
Stretch the skin with your free hand.
Grip the edge of the hardened wax and remove it with a quick, firm movement against the direction of hair growth, as close and parallel to the skin surface as possible.
Do not pull the wax vertically upwards — this may increase discomfort and the risk of skin trauma.
After removing the wax from an area, the skin can be gently pressed with the palm of the hand.
6. Repeated application
If necessary, the procedure can be repeated on a small area.
Repeatedly treating the same area of skin should be avoided, especially if the skin is already showing signs of irritation.
7. Finishing the procedure
After hair removal, remove any remaining wax with a suitable professional product and apply a skin-care product intended for use after hair removal.
For some time after the procedure, it is advisable to avoid intensive friction of the skin, hot baths, saunas, intensive workouts and other factors that may cause additional irritation to the treated area.
